Leading up to the first day of fall football practice on Aug. 1, we’ll be spotlighting each 11-man team in the area and posing some of the key questions they’ll face in 2022 as part of our annual “Countdown to Two-a-Days” series.
We stay in Class 3A Division I with the Clyde Bulldogs. On Sunday we will take a look at the Jim Ned Indians followed by the Brock Eagles Indians on Monday.

- The Bulldogs were outscored 358-166 in 2021, including 170-112 in district play.

- Junior QB/DB Blake Carr (Had 1,562 yards and 11 touchdowns passing in 2021)
- Senior RB/WR Austin Hastings (Had 334 yards and 4 touchdowns rushing in 2021)
THREE BURNING QUESTIONS
- With 30 lettermen returning, including nine starters on both sides of the ball, can the Bulldogs make significant progress in coach Danny Dudgeon’s second year?
- How much improvement will we see from quarterback Blake Carr, who showed strong potential last year as a sophomore?
- Will the Clyde defense take a big step forward after allowing 35.8 points per game last season?
