Week 9 featured a number of district matchups that had been circled on six-man fans’ calendars for weeks.

Chief among those were Hermleigh-Jayton in District 4-1A Division I, Vernon Northside-Newcastle in District 9 DI and Gustine-Zephyr in District 12 DII — all potential district championship matchups with one-score spreads.

While none of those three games delivered the level of competitiveness most anticipated, they all gave us plenty to talk about in this week’s “Six-Man Rewind” column. We hope you enjoy this look back at all of the biggest developments and performances the area six-man scene gave us last week.
