In a year that has seen one outrageous performance by area quarterbacks after another, Week 9 was no exception.
The latest to produce big numbers: Jacksboro senior quarterback Hoytt Wesson, who produced 489 yards in total offense and eight touchdowns in a 64-37 win over Henrietta.

Through the air, Wesson hit 21 of 27 passes for 377 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed 14 times for 112 yards and four more scores as Jacksboro improved to 7-1 overall and 3-0 in district play.
