Waco La Vega 49, Alvarado 28 — Bryson Roland rushed for 244 yards and three scores to lead La Vega to an important win over Alvarado. 

The Pirates (5-3, 1-1) built a 28-7 first-half lead, then held off a late Alvarado rally to collect the win.
