- Abilene High allowed just 17.4 points per game in 2022, marking the Eagles’ best defensive effort since 2012, when they surrendering just 15.3 points per contest.

- Senior DB Beckham Paul (Had 82 tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 forced fumble in 2022)
- Sophomore QB Brayden Henry (Passed for 373 yards and 3 touchdowns and rushed for 435 yards and 2 TDs in 2022)
