Last year as a sophomore, Seth Wilcox established himself as a big-time playmaker for Roscoe, amassing almost 1,200 total yards and 15 touchdowns from his receiver position while intercepting seven passes from his spot in the Plowboys secondary.
But as good as he was, he did most of that as the Robin to then-senior Antonio Aguayo’s Batman.
The speedy Aguayo was option 1A for Roscoe, hauling in 1,273 yards and 11 touchdowns receiving while rushing for 583 more yards and seven additional scores to lead the Plowboys to a surprising 10-2 campaign.
With Aguayo having graduated, Wilcox is now poised to assume the mantle as RHS’ “go-to guy,” and Jake Freeman is excited to see the levels to which the standout junior can take his game this fall.
