2022 ROSCOE FOOTBALL PREVIEW: Plowboys looking to build on breakout 2021 campaign

Last year’s 10-2 campaign was a big deal for the Roscoe Plowboys for a lot of reasons. Coming off a three-year stretch in which they had won a combined five games, including a 1-10 season in 2020, the Plowboys completed one of the biggest year-over-year turnarounds the Big Country has ever seen.

But that accomplishment, which included the program’s first district championship since 2015 and first playoff win since 2016, was just the beginning, if you ask 10th-year coach Jake Freeman.

With 18 lettermen back from that squad and a number of sophomores and juniors in prominent spots, Roscoe is still in the beginning stages of what should be a multi-year winning window, and the best may be yet to come.
