GAME STORY: Fourth-quarter rally lifts Abilene High past Vista Ridge

For three quarters on Friday night at Shotwell Stadium, the Abilene High football team had the look of a squad that was headed for an 0-3 start.

Enter Abel Ramirez.

The senior quarterback threw for 70 yards and ran for 59 more in the final 12 minutes, picking up a pair of rushing touchdowns to help the Eagles rally for a 23-19 win over Cedar Park Vista Ridge in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
