CROWLEY — The Cooper football team wrapped up an undefeated run through District 3-5A Division I on Friday, routing Crowley 50-13 to earn its first outright district title since 2009.
Senior running Noah Garcia rushed for three touchdowns, and quarterback Aidan Thompson accounted for one score passing and another rushing as the Cougars improved to 7-1 overall and 6-0 in district play.
Cooper was originally scheduled to make up its game with Fort Worth Brewer in the final week of the regular season, but that game was canceled due to COVID-19.
