BOWIE – Fifth-ranked Jacksboro looked the part Friday night as the Tigers spoiled Bowie’s homecoming with a 70-34 rout at Jackrabbit Stadium.

The Tigers showcased their offensive versatility in improving to 4-0, amassing 668 total yards against a Bowie defense that had only surrendered 20 points in its first three victories.  

And the way Jacksboro attacked the Jackrabbits was most impressive. Sophomore running back Ryder Davis racked up 270 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while quarterback Hoytt Wesson added 140 on the ground.

Wesson also threw for 210 yards and four scores as Travis Mitchell hauled in two touchdowns while Kase Dennis and Padun Seaberry also found the end zone.
