Gatesville 27, Glen Rose 19 — Glen Rose fell unexpectedly to Gatesville on the road as a 17-point favorite. 

The Tigers were led by Judd Connally, who rushed for 31 yards and two TDs and threw for 150. 

Both teams levelled off at 1-1.
