2026 CISCO FOOTBALL PREVIEW: Loboes looking good on paper; now hoping to match expectations

CISCO —  In the eyes of many, the 2026 Cisco Loboes are a team with a legitimate shot at reaching the state championship game in Arlington.

They are seen by some as one of the top teams in Region II-2A DI and by many others as the favorite to win District 5-2A DI.

That assessment, however, is all based on what the Loboes are showing on paper.  And on paper, as coach Kevin Stennett is quick to point out, isn’t where football games, district titles and trips to Jerry World are won.

The Loboes, as he sees it, have several things to figure out if they are to put a major dent in the postseason bracket.
