Abilene High 42, Lubbock Monterey 34 — Brayden Henry passed for 183 yards and two touchdowns, ran for 62 yards and two more scores and had a hand in a pair of two-point conversions to help the Eagles clinch the outright district title with a hard-fought win over the Plainsmen.

AHS also got strong production from M’Aujehl Aboso (5-76, 1 TD receiving; 4-38, 1 TD rushing) and Ethan Joyner (14-81 rushing, 2-13 receiving) in closing its regular season at 8-2 overall and 6-0 in league play.
