DISTRICT 3-4A DIV. I WEEK 3 REPORT: Big Spring overcomes five turnovers to beat Borger

Big Spring 34, Borger 12 — Xander Garza ran for 133 yards and four touchdowns, and the Steers defense put together a dominant performance to overcome a 5-1 turnover disadvantage in a three-touchdown win over the Bulldogs.

Big Spring (2-1) limited Borger to just 160 total yards, including 105 on the ground, to help the Steers build a 20-12 halftime lead, before closing out the win with a second-half shutout.
