GAME STORY: Coahoma takes another regional title with 8-2 win over Jacksboro

ABILENE — Two streaks were kept alive at Abilene Christian University’s Poly Wells Field on Saturday in the Region I-3A Division II championship series — both of which belong to the Coahoma Bulldoggettes. 

In winning Game 2 over Jacksboro, 8-2, Coahoma extended its current streak of regional titles to four and also pushed its current unbeaten streak to 89 straight games. 

Hannah Wells threw a complete game four-hitter with nine strikeouts and Baylor Wright was 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs to lead Coahoma (32-0-1) which now advances to face Sadler S&S in the state semifinals.
