Just two wins separate the state’s top six-man teams from a trip to Arlington for the Class 1A state championships, and we still have six area squads with a heartbeat between the Division I and II brackets. 

Westbrook, Water Valley and Gordon remain in the large school playoffs, while Jayton, Benjamin and Richland Springs are still alive in Division II. 

With all set to be playing post-Thanksgiving football, there are only winners among that group, but our survivor list will shrink by at least two before the weekend. Without further ado, it’s time to look at what each is up against in Week 14.
