SWEETWATER — It was a start unlike anything Anson coach Cory McCombs could remember in his coaching career.
After receiving the opening kickoff, the Tigers had to burn a timeout because their starting center had lost his mouthpiece and the Fort Worth officials working the game made him go back to the sidelines to get a new one.
Despite that, the Tigers had no issues dispatching of Christoval 46-11 in a Region I-2A Division I bi-district matchup Friday night at the Mustang Bowl.
