Lubbock Monterey 31, Abilene High 17 — Luke Arrington passed for 203 yards and two touchdowns, and Kyree Baxter ran for 158 yards and two scores to fuel the Plainsmen to a big district win over the Eagles.

Cam Taylor added 86 yards and a TD receiving for Monterey (5-4, 4-1), which closed the game on a 24-7 scoring run to all but lock up the No. 1 playoff seed for this district.
