San Saba 36, Thorndale 28 — Luke Tharp rushed for 241 yards and two scores to help push San Saba past district rival Thordale. 

The win puts the Armadillos (5-2) atop the district race and sets up a possible season-ending showdown with Mason for all the marbles.

Thorndale fell to 4-3 and 0-2.
