Crosbyton 22, Olney 8 — The Cubs’ struggles continued on Friday with their fourth loss in five starts.

They may have a chance to gain some momentum on Friday when they open district play with Abilene TLCA (0-5) at home. 

Crosbyton improved to 2-3.  

Abilene TLCA, idle — The Eagles entered their bye week with a 0-5 overall record. They will open district play with a visit to Olney (1-4) in a crucial game for both clubs on Oct. 11.   

Anson, idle — The Tigers entered their bye week with a 4-1 overall record. They will open district play against Hawley (5-0) at home on Oct. 11.                                               

Cisco, idle — The Loboes entered their bye week with a 4-1 overall record. They will open district play with a game at Stamford (5-0) on Oct. 11.                                                     

Hawley, idle — The Bearcats entered their bye week with a 5-0 overall record. They will open district play with a game at Anson (4-1) on Oct. 11.                                          

Stamford, idle — The Bulldogs entered their bye week with a 5-0 overall record. They will open district play against Cisco (4-1)) at home on Oct. 11.
