Saturday’s are quickly earning a new name around the Abilene High baseball program — Brady-day.

A week after Brady Bennett led the Eagles to a 2-1 win over crosstown rival Cooper, the senior took the mound against Lubbock Cooper and dominated again, leading AHS to a 13-5 win over the District 4-5A leader entering the day.

The win moved AHS into a tie for first place in the district standings with the Pirates at 4-1.
