Thirty-one basketball teams — 16 girls and 15 boys — will be in Eula this week for the annual Eula Holiday Classic, which will continue its tradition as one of the top small-school basketball tournaments in the state.

Included in the girls field will be 10 teams from the Big Country Preps coverage area as Comanche, Roscoe, Hermleigh, Stamford, Clyde, Colorado City, Eula, San Saba, Eastland and Ballinger are all set to compete.

Seven of the 15 boys teams hail from the area, meanwhile, as Clyde, Eastland, Jim Ned, Breckenridge, Comanche, Roscoe and Eula are all featured in the bracket.
