SWEETWATER — For three and a half quarters Friday, the Stamford Bulldogs and Forsan Buffaloes were locked in a knockdown, drag-out fight in their Region I-2A Division I bi-district matchup at the Mustang Bowl.
Justin Brady changed that in one play.
With his team leading 21-6 midway through the fourth quarter and in danger of seeing that advantage trimmed back to the one-score margin it was entering the final period, the Stamford senior jumped in front of a Nicholas Holloway pass at the goal line and raced the full length of the football field for a touchdown to break the Buffaloes’ back in what would eventually be a 42-6 victory for the Bulldogs.
