Seymour 75, Quanah 18 — Coming off a lopsided loss to Albany, Seymour got back on the winning track with a blowout of Quanah.
Brayden Loyd threw for 317 yards and six touchdowns to lead Seymour (3-1), which rushed for 221 yards as a team using six ball carriers.
Quanah dropped to 0-4.
Anson 21, Haskell 20 — It all boiled down to turnovers in this tough Anson road win, with the Tiger defense charting five takeaways to key the victory.
Corey Layne rushed for 49 scores and two TDs to lead the Anson offense.
Haskell (0-3) was led by Haegen Pinkerton’s 70 yards passing and 107 yards rushing. He added two rushing TDs
Hamlin 38, Munday 7 — Clayton Rister rushed for 152 yards and two scores and Ian Gruben threw for 261 yards and four touchdowns to lead Hamlin to a win over Munday.
The Pied Pipers (3-1) have now won three straight following a season-opening loss to unbeaten Stamford.
Munday (0-4) was led by Haiden Bowman, who threw for 95 yards and one score.
Henrietta 42, Archer City 7 — Blaze Deaton rushed for 167 yards and three scores and Garrett Blevins rushed for 138 yards and two more scores to lead Henrietta to a big win over Archer City.
The Wildcats fell to 2-1 with their first loss.
Electra 43, Era 28 — Electra raced out to a 36-8 lead through three quarters, then survived a late Era rally.
The Tigers (2-1) finished with 383 yards in total offense while limiting Era (0-3) to 275.
Alvord 59, Petrolia 6 — Petrolia’s momentum gained in last week’s 36-0 win over Quanah was short-lived.
Alvord (3-0) quickly built a 31-0 first-half lead and was never threatened. The Pirates fell to 1-3.
