TUSCOLA — In the aftermath of Jim Ned’s 10-0 win over Coahoma on Tuesday, there was almost no acknowledgement of the fact that Jim Ned’s Garan Millican had just thrown a no-hitter. 

The truth of the matter is, many people were completely unaware of it, given that the scoreboard wasn’t accounting for hits. And even those who had suspected that he had thrown a no-no, weren’t sure of it, since they hadn’t seen the official book yet. 

Case closed. Millican delivered a five-inning no-hitter in a mercy rule win at Jim Ned, helping the Indians (15-3, 5-0 District 6-3A) to remain in a first-place tie with area power Wall in the league race.
