All good things must come to an end, and for the Cross Plains boys basketball team, the end is the tenure of Dade Cosby leading the program.
On Tuesday, Cosby announced that he was stepping down from the program that he’s been part of for nearly a decade in order to focus on his other job — being the superintendent of the school district.
His coaching career came to a close with a 53-35 loss to Aspermont in the area round of the playoffs on Friday night.
