STAMFORD — Benjamin’s Grayson Rigdon has been the most prolific scorer in the Big Country this year by a wide margin as he averaged 40.4 points per game during the regular season.

Tuesday night, he put his skills on display in the Region II-1A quarterfinals and propelled the No. 19 Mustangs into the regional tournament with a 42-point effort in Benjamin’s 72-43 win over Knox City.

It was a 13-0 run over the first three minutes of the second half that helped the Mustangs put the Greyhounds away.
