It never ceases to amaze me how fast the regular season passes by in high school football. And here we are again — Week 11, Halloween behind us and Turkey Day right around the corner.
Heading into this final week, the column is barely clinging to an .800 percentage, which unless it gets better, is one of the worst pick years I’ve had in the last decade.
However, this is ample time to close with a flurry, given that the second season (the Texas high postseason) gets underway next week.
