DISTRICT 2-5A DIV. I WEEK 10 REPORT: Eagles fall at Amarillo High; Tascosa tops Cooper for league’s No. 1 seed

The Eagles dropped a tough one in Amarillo, seeing a 7-3 halftime lead evaporate in a one-score loss to the Sandies.

Abilene High (4-6, 3-3) outgained Amarillo High 314-201, limiting the Sandies to just 77 rushing yards, but the Eagles found themselves down 17-7 in the third quarter despite this.
