Brock 55, Boyd 6 — The Eagles broke into the win column in dominating fashion, blasting the Yellowjackets in the district opener for both teams.

Brock, which outgained Boyd 576-189, built a 27-0 lead by halftime and was never threatened after in improving to 1-4 on the year and 1-0 in league play. 

Tyler Moody passed for 253 yards, while the Eagles got strong rushing games from Brett Tutter (11-102, 1 TD), Reid Watkins (11-82, 3 TDs rushing; 2-70 receiving), Zachary Brewster (2-70, 2 TDs) and Cannon Stephens (4-52, 1 TD). The Yellowjackets (3-2, 0-1), meanwhile, were led by quarterback Braden McIntire (16-31-0—175, 1 TD passing) and receivers Mason Turner (6-93) and Aidan LeMasters (6-73, 1 TD).
