Big Spring 20, Sweetwater 7 — Gavin Padron passed for 286 yards and two touchdowns while Kavien Ford rushed for 96 yards to fuel the Steers to a two-touchdown win over  the Mustangs.

Big Spring, which improved to 3-1 with the victory, outgained Sweetwater 401-159 and held a 3-2 advantage in the turnover margin. Despite this, the Steers trailed 7-0 after one quarter and were tied 7-all at halftime, before taking control of the game with a pair of scores in the third quarter.
