DISTRICT 4-3A DIV. I WEEK 3 REPORT: Brock rally comes up short in loss to Wimberley

Wimberley 32, Brock 23 β€” The Eagles fell to 0-3, allowing 23 second-quarter points in a two-score loss to the Texans at Baylor’s McLane Stadium.

Brock, which trailed 23-7 at halftime, tied the game early in the fourth quarter with a 17-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Moody to Cotton Tanner. But Wimberley answered with a touchdown and a safety in the final two minutes to pull away for the victory.

The Eagles outgained the Texans 263-251, but coach Billy Mathis’ squad was hurt by three turnovers β€” two lost fumbles and an interception. Moody completed five of 16 passes for 115 yards with two touchdowns and a pick, while Zachary Brewster (8-63, 1 TD) led BHS in rushing and Brett Tutter (1-62, TD) led all receivers.
