Forsan 34, Stanton 14 — The FHS Buffaloes took care of their SHS counterparts, building a 27-0 lead through three quarters on their way to a blowout win.
Forsan (3-0) had only 288 total yards, 235 of those on the ground, but the Buffs held Stanton to 241 yards and forced five turnovers, returning a fumble for their first touchdown.
Offensively, coach Jason Phillips’ team was led by Kevin Kligora, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, while Grant Roman ran for 73 yards and a score on six attempts. Quarterback Cade Wallis also had a productive day, going 5-of-9 passing for 53 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 36 yards.
