Leading up to the first day of fall football practice on Aug. 1, we’ll be spotlighting each 11-man team in the area and posing some of the key questions they’ll face in 2022 as part of our annual “Countdown to Two-a-Days” series.
We continue in Class 2A Division II with the Hico Tigers. On Wednesday we will take a look at the Forsan Buffaloes, followed by the Anson Tigers on Thursday.
HICO TIGERS
LAST YEAR’S RECORD
- 5-6 overall, 2-2 in District 8-2A Division II
ONE KEY STAT
- Hico’s 255 points in 2021 were the Tigers’ most since 2017, when they posted their last winning record at 7-4.

- Senior DT Ty Crawford (Had 42 tackles and 6 tackles for loss in 2021)
- Junior QB/DB Carson Keller (Had 27 tackles, 2 interceptions and 2 pass breakups in 2021)
