When the COVID-19 pandemic first hit, Marco Regalado was an unknown position coach at Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial High School in the Rio Grande Valley.
During the pandemic, Regalado became a viral sensation known as the “TikTok Coach” as his videos depicting different coaches on every coaching staff took off like crazy and led to a whirlwind career that in just two short years has seen him land as the director of recruiting for Washington State University’s football team.
On Friday, the Zapata native was back in his home state as he headlined the inaugural Big Country Football Clinic at Station One in downtown Abilene.
