STEPHENVILLE — Only four times in their history had Hico reached postseason play in softball. And never before Wednesday night had the Lady Tigers scored a single postseason victory. 

That streak came to a end at Stephenville High School when Hico opened its best-of-three series against Santo with a 17-1 win.
