GOLDTHWAITE — Beating an archrival can have enough meaning on its own. But when its in overtime for sole possession of first place in the district standings, you’re talking about a special evening for the victor. 

The Goldthwaite boys got a taste of that on Tuesday, knocking off longtime rival San Saba 52-48 in overtime to remain unbeaten in District 29-2A with seven games left to play.
