The Cooper football team entered Friday night’s District 3-5A Division I game against Crowley knowing that anything other than a max points loss would put the Coogs in the postseason for the 15th consecutive season.

Mission accomplished.

Cooper held the ball for over 25 minutes on Friday night and beat the Eagles 28-13 at Shotwell Stadium, clinching the final playoff berth in the district.
