Abilene High School is enjoying a turnaround season under first-year head volleyball coach Caroline Cleveland.
The Lady Eagles have won 19 games heading into Tuesday’s match against Frenship. Even though they haven’t gotten off to the best district start, Cleveland sees how much potential her girls possess nearly every day.
One example of that upside is sophomore setter Shea Bruntmyer, who is thriving in her first season as a six-rotation player.
