The Wylie volleyball team never trailed in three games as the Lady Bulldogs swept Abilene High 25-17, 25-13, 25-13 on Tuesday night at Bulldog Gym.

Getting a quick sweep of a crosstown opponent was big for Wylie, said coach Shay Cox, noting that it would have been easy for her squad to get too hyped up for Tuesday’s match or to be caught looking ahead to Friday night’s showdown with former district foe Aledo.
