MIDLAND — After watching his team suffer a season-ending 3-1 loss to Shallowater in Game 3 of their Region I-3A semifinal on Saturday, Jim Ned coach Ryan Lewis did what true educators do. 

He turned the heartbreak into a teachable moment.
