Through the top of the sixth inning on Wednesday afternoon, every single break went the way of the Colorado City softball team in its Region I-2A semifinal opener against Anson at Abilene Christian University’s Poly Wells Field.

In the bottom half of the inning, however, all the breaks went Anson’s way and the Lady Tigers came from behind for a 10-9 win in the first game of the best-of-three series.

Whitney Wilson started the inning with a walk and Landry Overby followed with a mammoth home run to left field that cut the Lady Wolves lead to 9-6 but keyed the six-run rally.
