ODESSA — A disastrous second quarter sunk the Abilene High boys basketball team Tuesday night as the Eagles fell 54-38 on the road to Odessa Permian.

Trailing by a just a point after the first quarter, the Eagles were outscored 17-4 in the second, sending them to halftime down 25-11 and allowing the Panthers to cruise in the second half to the win.
