Sweetwater 40, Boerne 35 — The Mustangs put up 350 yards of total offense, most of that through the air, and took advantage of two pivotal turnovers to spoil homecoming for the previously unbeaten Greyhounds.

Trailing 21-20 at halftime, Sweetwater (2-1) used a pick-six early in the third quarter to regain the lead and got a pair of Leo Holsey touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to keep Boerne at arm’s length.

Holsey, last week’s Big Country Preps Player of the Week, finished with four touchdown passes to improve his season total to nine.
