By any definition, 2019 was a rough season for the Colorado City Wolves.
Without the help of an exceptional class that had led C-City to a combined 21-4 record the two years prior, a young Wolves squad struggled through an 0-10 campaign, being outscored 429-79 in the process.
With just a handful of seniors on this year’s roster, coach Dan Gainey’s team will still be young in 2020. But the longtime C-City mentor saw growth through last season’s adversity and sees better things on the horizon.
