FEATURE: Big Spring star Seymore’s game shaped by ceaseless work ethic

Coming off a sophomore season in which he averaged 15.6 points, 4.2 assists, four rebounds and three steals per game, Big Spring’s Kyler Seymore entered this season as an established standout.

And playing an even bigger role for coach Kris Hise’s squad as a junior, he’s been defended like one by opponents.

But if the extra attention or responsibility have been an issue for the 6-foot-2 guard, he’s done an awfully good job of hiding it. In fact, last year’s All-Big Country Preps Newcomer of the Year is playing more like an MVP candidate this year for the “Showtime Steers.”
