BALLINGER — Wall locked up one district title and put itself into the driver’s seat in another with a varsity doubleheader sweep at Ballinger on Friday.
Facing a pair of upstart programs on the road, WHS opened the evening with a 41-26 win in the girls game, and followed that with a 52-45 boys victory in the nightcap.
Kamryn Williams scored 15 points and Kylie Phillips added 10 more to lead the Lady Hawks (22-7, 12-0 District 4-3A), which concluded an unbeaten run through district play with the win.
