DUBLIN — It’s one thing to choose an up-tempo style of basketball.
Winning with it, however, means having players well suited to pull if off.
At Dublin, where coach Will Parker and his Runnin’ Lions have established themselves as one of the preeminent up-tempo programs in the Big Country, senior guard Angel Ramirez has been at the forefront the DHS attack for nearly three years.
Ramirez, who enters this week as the seventh-leading scorer in the Big Country at 19.1 points per game, has proven to be an ideal fit in Parker’s system for more reasons than one.
