Brock 24, Paradise 22 — Trailing Paradise 16-10 at halftime, the Eagles rallied with a touchdown in each of the final two quarters to end the Panthers’ season with a heartbreaking loss.
Having already locked up the No. 2 playoff seed in this district, Brock didn’t need a win for its playoff standing. But coach Chad Worrell’s squad, which outgained Paradise 287-267 and got a pair of rushing touchdowns from Cash Jones (19-108 rushing), will now enter the playoffs at 8-2 and on a five-game losing streak.
Brock, which also got 102 rushing yards from Kutter Wilson, will open the postseason against Clyde at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shotwell Stadium.
