The Wylie football team went into Friday night’s District 3-5A Division II game against Lubbock Cooper needing to pull off an upset of the district leaders to bolster their playoff hopes.
Instead, the Bulldogs saw a strong first quarter evaporate before halftime before dropping a 49-14 decision to the Pirates at Bulldog Stadium.
